Privacy Policy

Linear GitHub Panel does not collect analytics or product telemetry. It uses a minimal Cloudflare Worker only for Creem checkout and license verification. Linear API Keys, GitHub page content, and Linear issue data never pass through that Worker. The product website is lineargithubpanel.com.

Local storage

• Your Linear Personal API Key is stored in chrome.storage.local. Chrome removes it when you uninstall the extension.
• chrome.storage.local does not provide application-level encryption at rest. Malware or anyone with access to your operating-system profile may be able to read it.
• The extension tells its GitHub content script only whether a key is configured. It never injects the key into the GitHub page.
• The extension stores an anonymous random install ID and—after activation—the Creem License Key and validation details in chrome.storage.local.
• A one-time 14-day trial sends a short-lived Google access token to the billing Worker. The Worker verifies it with Google and stores only a hash of the Google user id. The extension does not store the token or the Chrome account email.

Network requests

• Issue and viewer requests are sent only to https://api.linear.app/graphql.
• Requests include your Linear API Key and issue identifiers found on the current GitHub pull request.
• The extension never sends your key, Linear issue data, or GitHub page content to a developer server.
• Checkout requests send the selected plan and anonymous install ID to the billing Worker at https://billing.lineargithubpanel.com. License activation and validation send the Creem License Key and install or instance ID to the Worker. Trial requests send a short-lived Google access token so the Worker can verify the Chrome/Google account server-side.
• Creem processes payment details and checkout email under its own privacy policy. Cloudflare may process standard request metadata such as IP address as infrastructure provider.

Data shown on GitHub

The panel renders issue titles, status, priority, estimate, project, and assignee information into the GitHub page DOM. GitHub page scripts and other browser extensions with access to that page may technically read the information after it is displayed.

Data removal

Select Clear key to remove your Linear API Key. Select Deactivate this device to remove the current Creem activation. Uninstalling removes local configuration, but deactivate first to free an activation slot.
